Opening Statement
It was certainly a tale of two halves. We came out of the game knowing we have a lot to work on. We emphasize all of the time about making the extra pass, and if you look at the statistics we certainly didn't do that tonight seeing that we only had five assists. Now it is back to the drawing board. Michigan played great, the way they packed it in. I knew they would do that and Kevin always challenges you to shoot from the outside. We didn't knock shots down and gave up some easy looks inside. It just multiplied.

About Marquette's defense in the second half...
I thought when they did push us out, we didn't do our job that we need to to start our offense in the appropriate spots. We were getting pinned on the sideline and Angel wasn't passing it and that took us out of our rhythm.

About the physical nature of the game...
It was a very physical game. That is what we are used to playing in the BIG EAST. That is nothing different for us. They finished and we didn't. We had a lot of looks going to the hoop and we didn't finish those.

About Michigan getting to the free throw line...
I think it changed the rhythm (of the game). There was a lot of quick, quick, quick calls and our players were getting tentative on defense. It happens. We had to beat them to the spot quicker and adjust quicker. We have to adjust in those situations.
