MILWAUKEE--The Marquette women's basketball looks to continue its hot start in BIG EAST play on Thursday as the squad welcomes DePaul to the Al McGuire Center.

Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m CT on FS Wisconsin with Patrick Reed and Patricia Babcock-McGraw on the call, while also available on the BIG EAST Digital Network.

The last time these two squads met it was Marquette earning an 86-78 victory over the Blue Demons in the BIG EAST Tournament championship. The Golden Eagles went 3-0 against DePaul last season, though trail in the all-time series, 42-26.

Marquette earns its first conference tournament title since joining the BIG EAST in advance of the 2004-05 campaign, and the Golden Eagles punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011.

MU opened BIG EAST play with wins over St. John's and Seton Hall last week and was led by Allazia Blockton averaging 24.0 points in the two games, en route to earning a spot on the BIG EAST weekly honor roll. Lauren Van Kleunen was selected as BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after averaging 10.0 points and 9.5 rebounds against St. John's and Seton Hall, while collecting her first collegiate double-double against the Red Storm. Blockton leads MU with 19.2 points per game, ranking first in the BIG EAST.

Marquette and DePaul combine for the two fastest offenses in the league with the Blue Demons ranking first with 87.8 points per game, while the Golden Eagles average 83.8 points, ranking ninth and 18th in the NCAA, respectively.

DePaul is led by Ashton Millender with 14.6 points per game, ranking 10th in the BIG EAST, while Mart'e Grays averages 13.7 points, checking in at 12th in the league.

Marquette will hit the road for two games following this contest, taking on Creighton on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 1 CT on FS2.
