The Marquette women's basketball team (4-10, 0-3) will welcome DePaul and Butler to the Al McGuire Center on Jan. 9 and Jan. 11, respectively.

Friday's game will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via the FOX Sports Go app with Patrick Reed (play-by-play) and Kyle Dlabay (analyst) on the call.

The Golden Eagles will look for their first BIG EAST victory of the season after falling at Georgetown and Villanova last weekend.

Kenisha Bell led MU at Villanova with 16 points and six rebounds, along with Cristina Bigica who also posted 16 points and six boards.

.-- A late rally fell short for the Marquette women's basketball team (21-10) as the No. 5 seed Golden Eagles fell to No. 1 seed DePaul, 100-90, in the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals Monday evening at Allstate Arena.

Bell ranks ninth in the BIG EAST and is top among rookie's with 15.4 points per game. She is second in the league and 29th in the NCAA with 2.86 steals per game.

DePaul is receiving votes in both major polls this week and enters the game with a 10-5 record overall and is 2-1 in BIG EAST play.

The Blue Demons split a pair of road contests last weekend, falling in overtime at Villanova before besting Georgetown, 105-85.

DePaul is led by Brittany Hyrnko whose 20.7 points per game also leads the conference and is 19th in the NCAA.

DePaul owns a 38-23 record in the all-time series. The two squads split the season series last year with each team winning on its home court. The home team has won the game in seven of the past eight meetings. The Blue Demons defeated MU in the 2014 BIG EAST Tournament semifinals, 100-90.

Marquette will travel to Seton Hall (Jan. 16) and St. John's (Jan. 18) next weekend.
