The Marquette women's basketball team (18-8, 9-6) could not withstand a late Seton Hall surge as it fell 90-86, in overtime Saturday afternoon at Walsh Gymnasium.

The Golden Eagles are still seeking their first conference win of the 2014-15 campaign after suffering a pair of losses last weekend to DePaul and Butler. Freshman Kenisha Bell combined for 24 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in those games. Her 14.9 points per game rank ninth in the conference, while her 2.8 steals per game rank third. She also leads all freshmen in both categories.

Senior Arlesia Morse shot 50 percent from the field and put up 20 points and six rebounds against Butler. She is averaging 13.8 points per game this season, which ranks 11th in the league. Morse's 91.4 free throw percentage is also best in the conference.

Seton Hall's three-headed monster of junior Tabatha Richardson-Smith and graduate students Ka-Deidre Simmons and Daisha Simmons average a combined 49.2 points per game this season, which is 67 percent of their team's total scoring output. In their last game, the trio scored 51 of their team's 67 points en route to a 67-66 victory over Providence.

Friday's game will be the 11th time the Golden Eagles take on the Pirates, and Marquette has a 7-3 record in those games. MU went 1-1 against Seton Hall last season, with both teams winning on their home courts.

Following Friday's matchup, the Golden Eagles will travel 27 miles east to Queens, New York, to take on St. John's at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
