The Marquette University women's basketball team (4-13, 0-6) continues a two-game East Coast trip and will face St. John's at Carnesecca Arena Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. The game will be shown live on ESPN3.

The Golden Eagles faltered at Seton Hall on Friday, 88-58, led by a career-high 12 points from sophomore McKayla Yentz. Freshman Kenisha Bell notched her 15th double digit game this season with 10 points.

Kenisha Bell continues to rank ninth overall in the BIG EAST with 14.6 points per game, which is tops among all true freshmen in the league.

MU Rallies for 74-61 Victory at St. John's
After trailing as much as 23 points, the Marquette women's basketball team scored 39 points in the second half to come back and defeat St. John's 74-61 Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena.

St. John's (13-4, 4-2) fell 84-75 to DePaul on Friday afternoon, led by 25 points from Aliyyah Handford. Danaejah Grant added 23 points.

With the loss, the Red Storm fell out of first place in the BIG EAST standings. The squad is currently tied with Villanova which also has a 4-2 conference mark.

Handford and Grant rank first and third, respectively in the conference averaging 20.1 and 18.0 points per game. Amber Thompson leads the league with 12.0 rebounds per game.

Marquette will return home and open a four-game home stretch beginning on Friday, Jan. 23 when the team hosts Providence at 7 p.m. CT.
