The Marquette women's basketball team will wrap-up its two game road trip and take a break from the cold temperatures when the Golden Eagles head to Tampa, Fla., to take on USF Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Sun Dome. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT.

The game will be broadcast locally in Tampa on Catch 47 with Drew Fellios and Amanda Miller on the call.

The Golden Eagles (10-8, 2-3 BIG EAST) are looking to return to their winning ways and pick up their first conference road win after a 10-point defeat at Louisville earlier this week. Junior Krystal Ellis scored a team-high 23 points and freshman Paige Fiedorowicz added 13. Ellis currently leads the team with 19.8 ppg, an average that ranks third in the BIG EAST. She stands fourth in the league in the steals category swiping 2.27.

Marquette has proved it can count on any of its players to score as its reserves have outscored its opponent's bench, 106-31, in conference play. Fiedorowicz has averaged the highest point output of any MU reserve in BIG EAST play with 7.0 ppg. Junior Marissa Thrower follows with 3.5 ppg.

USF (11-7, 1-4), losers of five of its last six games, earned its lone conference win in its last time out at Seton Hall, 75-67. The Bulls dropped BIG EAST contests to West Virginia (79-73), St. John's (63-51), Syracuse (67-60) and Providence (61-49). The Bulls, who are averaging 69.8ppg, are 7-4 on their home floor this season, 0-3 in BIG EAST play.

USF is led by Shantia Grace with 17.4 ppg. Jessica Lawson follows with 12.6 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

It will be the 13th all-time meeting with USF with Marquette leading the series 12-1.

Marquette will return to the friendly confines of the Al McGuire Center on Wednesday, Jan. 30, to host Georgetown at 7 p.m.
