The Marquette women's basketball team will looking for program win No. 500 Wednesday, Feb. 18, when it takes on Cincinnati at Fifth Third Arena at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. The game can be heard live on the internet courtesy of Marquette Radio  with WMUR's Brad Galli on the call.

Marquette and Cincinnati will meet for the 28th time in a series that began in 1992 as members of the Great Midwest Conference. The Golden Eagles own the series advantage, 19-8, and have claimed the last three wins. Marquette is 9-2 when playing in Cincinnati.

The Golden Eagles (14-11, 5-6 BIG EAST) are coming off a much-needed win over West Virginia, 79-59, Sunday that snapped their two-game losing skid. Marquette will return home Saturday to host St. John's at 3 p.m.

Senior Erin Monfre had arguably the most complete game of her career as she set an Al McGuire Center record and matched a program record with a career-high seven made 3-pointers. She shot 70 percent for the game (7-of-10) from the field, including 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from long range. She also pulled down three rebounds and dished a season high four assists over a season high 29 minutes of action.

Fellow classmate Krystal Ellis returned to form with game-high 25 points, six rebounds and three assists in just 24 minutes of action.

Cincinnati is 13-11 overall and 3-8 in the BIG EAST, and have lost seven straight games, all in conference play. The Bearcats last win was over Seton Hall, 72-62, on Jan. 17.

Kahla Roudebush leads Cincinnati with 16.4 points per game. Jill Stephens is the only other Bearcat scoring in double figures, posting 11.3 ppg and a team-best 5.1 rebounds per game.
