Marquette enters Friday's contest winning of three of its last five games, including an upset victory over No. RV/24 Seton Hall this past Sunday.

The Golden Eagles featured four players in double digits Sunday, including senior Arlesia Morse who scored a team-high 22 points on 13-of-14 shooting from the free throw line. Fellow senior Chelsie Butler scored a season-high 13 points and grabbed seven boards, while Kenisha Bell and Lauren Tibbs both chipped in with 10 points. MU fittingly earned its first win over a ranked opponent since Feb. 28, 2011 on senior day, marking the first time the Golden Eagles' four seniors, Morse, Butler Apiew Ojulu, and Christina Bigica, topped a ranked team.

When the Friars visited the Al McGuire Center on Jan. 23, the Golden Eagles looked to be on the verge of capturing their first conference win after leading for 31 minutes. With the score tied at 52 late in the contest, the Friars took their first lead of the game and did not look back, ultimately their largest lead of 66-58 was the final score.

Morse paced all scorers in the teams' first meeting with 19 points, while Ojulu and Bell both contributed nine. PC featured three women in double digits, with Alison Lewis tallying 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting to lead the Friars.

After the conclusion of Friday's game, the Golden Eagles will be faced with a quick turnaround when they travel to Omaha, Nebraska to battle Creighton on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. C.T.
