Updated 2010 WNIT Bracket (PDF)

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team will play at Illinois Monday, March 22, at 4 p.m. at Assembly Hall in the second round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.

Illinois (17-14) advanced to the second round by virtue of a 68-51 win at Western Kentucky Friday evening. Jenna Smith led the Illini with 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Whitney Toone added 20 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Marquette and Illinois previously met this season in Champaign with the Golden Eagles claiming the win, 65-55. Angel Robinson scored a season-high 32 points in the win.
