MILWAUKEE - A year removed from being honored as a Woman of Influence, Marquette women's basketball head coach Terri Mitchell will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2008 Milwaukee Business Journal Women of Influence luncheon on Thursday, June 26 at the Midwest Airlines Center.

"Last year, as a recipient, I was so honored to be among the incredible women who have so much talent and so much to offer this city," said Mitchell. "Now, to be able to speak to the new group of recipients and share a part of who I am means more than I can say. It is such an incredible honor because I know there are so many people who could have been chosen. All of the years I have been at Marquette my opportunities to do things like this continue to grow. I couldn't be more excited about being there and to have the chance to inspire and celebrate these phenomenal women."

In 2007, Mitchell was one of 23 Milwaukee area women honored as a Woman of Influence. Mitchell received the inspiration award for how her words, actions and attitude inspire women they work with and everyone around them.
