The Marquette University women's basketball team has announced its schedule for the 2012-13 season. The Golden Eagles will match up against 12 teams that earned a berth to the 2012 NCAA Championship.

The squad will also make four appearances on national and regional television. MU will host Louisville (Jan. 22) and St. John's (Feb. 20) on CBS Sports Network, play at USF on Jan. 26 as the BIG EAST Game of the Week on the BIG EAST Network and host Notre Dame (Feb. 17) on ESPN2 for the WCBA's Play 4Kay initiative.

Marquette will open the season hosting Butler on Nov. 10 at the Al McGuire Center before playing its next four contests on the road. The Golden Eagles play at Georgia Tech (Nov. 18) and travel to Texas A&M for a Thanksgiving tournament (Nov. 23 and 25). MU will play at South Dakota State on Nov. 28.

The Golden Eagles will return home and play six of their next seven games at home. MU hosts Fordham (Dec. 1), plays at Wisconsin (Dec. 5) and returns home to host Wisconsin-Green Bay (Dec. 8), Toledo (Dec. 15), Navy (Dec. 19), Dartmouth (Dec. 20) and Loyola of Chicago (Dec. 29).

Marquette will travel to Central Michigan on Jan. 2 before beginning its BIG EAST Conference slate.

The Golden Eagles will open its eighth conference season hosting Syracuse (Jan. 5) and 2012 NCAA semifinalist Connecticut (Jan. 12) before traveling to Seton Hall (Jan. 15) and Pittsburgh (Jan. 19).

Marquette welcomes Louisville to the Al McGuire Center on Jan. 22 before traveling to USF to play in the newly renovated Sun Dome.

The Golden Eagles will return home to host Rutgers (Jan. 30) and DePaul (Feb. 2) before playing their next three conference games on the road. Marquette plays its second game of the season against Connecticut on Feb. 5 in Gampel Pavilion before traveling to Villanova (Feb. 10) and Cincinnati to play at Fifth Third Arena.

The return home won't be easy as MU faces Notre Dame, who advanced to the 2012 NCAA Championship game and St. John's that saw its run in the 2012 NCAA tournament end in the Sweet 16.

Marquette finishes up the road portion of its conference schedule at Providence on Feb. 26 and at Georgetown on March 2.

Cincinnati travels to the Al McGuire center to conclude the BIG EAST regular season on March 4.

The 2013 BIG EAST Championship is set for March 8-12 at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn and will once again include all of the conference teams.

The remaining game time for the Golden Eagles will be announced at a later date and times are subject to change.
