Angel Robinson Signs A One-Year Deal With Ceyhan-Belediyesi

MILWAUKEE - Former Marquette University women's basketball player Angel Robinson has signed a one-year deal to play for Ceyhan-Belediyesi SC in the Adana Provence of Turkey.
Ceyhan reached the Turkish Cup semifinals three consecutive years (2006-08) and participated in the 2006 Europe Cup. The club finished ninth in the Turkish League last season.
Robinson finished her career at MU as the only player in program history with over 1,500 points, 500 assists and 250 steals. The St. Paul, Minn., native ranks in the top 12 in eight career statistical categories, including an MU-record 134 career games played. Robinson was drafted 22nd overall by the New York Liberty in the 2011 WNBA Draft and traded to the Minnesota Lynx, who released her prior to the start of the 2011 season.
