Women's Basketball on Twitter | Women's Basketball on Facebook

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team is preparing for its home opener on Nov. 10 against Butler and in an effort to build and spread excitement for the contest, Marquette Athletics and Marquette women's basketball will be hosting a social media countdown challenge on Twitter and Facebook.

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 31, leading up to the home opener Saturday, Nov. 10 versus Butler at 7:00 p.m., a daily challenge will be issued online via Twitter from @MarquetteWBB or on the official Marquette women's basketball Facebook page at facebook.com/MarquetteWBB. The challenge will be issued at 10:00 a.m. and must be complete by 5:00 p.m. in order to be eligible for the daily prize. One winner will be selected each day and will be notified via social media.

Make sure to follow @MarquetteWBB on Twitter and `Like' us on Facebook so that you can take part in the #MUWBB home opener Countdown Challenge.

There are a few rules and regulations to follow when participating in the Countdown Challenge.

•Must use Twitter or Facebook to participate
•Must complete daily challenge to be eligible for prizes
•Daily prize winners and grand prize winner will all be notified online via Twitter or Facebook
•Contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
•To ensure compliance with NCAA rules, daily challenge winners may not be a "prospective student-athlete" as defined by NCAA rules.

On the following days a challenge will be tweeted from @MarquetteWBB or posted on the Marquette Women's Basketball Facebook page, so keep watching both account to participate in the #MUWBB Home Opener Challenge Countdown.
