Women's Basketball Hosts Exhibition On Saturday

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team will host Winona State in its first of two exhibition games of the season on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Al McGuire Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Marquette returns every player from last year's squad. The Golden Eagles added two freshmen and remain a young team, but will benefit from having a year of playing together. MU was selected 11th in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches Poll. Season tickets are still available and priced at $100 with great seats having recently become available. A three-game mini plan is available which includes DePaul on Feb. 2, Connecticut on Feb. 5 and Notre Dame on Feb. 17. Prices for the plan are $18 for reserved chairback seats, $15 for lower bench and $9 for general admission. The NCAA Division II Warriors travel to Milwaukee from Winona, Minn. They return a deep team with a roster of veterans. Winona State was selected sixth in the NSIC South Division. Marquette will play in its second exhibition on Monday, Nov. 5 and welcome UW-Parkside to the Al. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
