RV/RV Marquette to Host Central Michigan Thursday

MILWAUKEE--The Marquette University women's basketball team (3 -0) will return to Milwaukee for the first of two home games and will host Central Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. CT at the Al McGuire Center.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a crucial 82-77 win over RV/#25 Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn. After trailing Vandy by 11 at the end of the first, MU went on a 9-0 run to start the second half. Senior Katherine Plouffe recorded her third straight double double and hit two free throws in the final minute to guide Marquette to victory.
Central Michigan travels to Milwaukee after a 96-74 loss to No. 7/8 Kentucky. Crystal Bradford scored 23 points for the Chippewas and joined the 1,000 point club in the loss at UK. Senior Niki DiGiulio has been unstoppable from beyond the arc, hitting seven three's in her first two games. CMU was a unanimous selection to win the Mid-American Conference West title.
The series is tied at 1-1, with MU beating CMU last season, 78-74, and CMU beating MU in 1977.
