Marquette Travels to Texas A&M Classic

Marquette Game Notes | Live Audio and Video Links MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team continues a four-game road stint as it heads to the Texas A&M Classic in College Station Texas. The Golden Eagles (1-1) will face Marshall (2-1) on Friday, Nov. 23 at 4:30 p.m. CT before facing host school, No. 24/RV Texas A&M (1-3) on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m. CT. In its most recent outing, MU nearly staged a comeback at Georgia Tech, going on an 11-2 run in the final two minutes of play, but fell to the Yellow Jackets, 76-72. Junior Katie Young led the way for the Golden Eagles with a career-high tying 18 points and nine rebounds. Senior Sarina Simmons also just missed recording a double-double as she posted 11 points and grabbed nine boards. Following the A&M Classic, Marquette will travel to South Dakota State on Wednesday, Nov. 28 for a 6 p.m. CT tip-off. The Golden Eagles will play six-of-seven contests at home in the month of December.
