COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Marquette women's basketball team (2-1) looks to close out the Texas A&M Classic with a victory on Sunday as the Golden Eagles take on the host Aggies at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Friday evening, MU easily defeated Marshall, 67-46 as four different players recorded double figures for the third consecutive game. Juniors Katherine Plouffe and Katie Young each recorded a double-double with Plouffe pouring in 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Young tallied 10 points and pulled down 12 boards. Sophomores Apiew Ojulu and Chelsie Butler notched 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Texas A&M (2-3) defeated Southern on Friday by a wide 88-48 margin. The Aggies are led by Kelsey Bone who is averaging 13.0 points per game through five games and 9.4 rebounds. Courtney Walker is averaging 12.0 points each contest.

This will be the first meeting between the two squads.
