MILWAUKEE--After averaging 19 points over Marquette's three games this past week, senior guard Arlesia Morse was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday.

Morse helped guide the Golden Eagles through a three-game stretch that included a home contest against Loyola and road matchups against Wake Forest and Duke. Against Loyola, Morse was the team's second leading scorer with 14 points. Morse also grabbed eight rebounds in MU's 86-71 victory over the Ramblers.

The senior sharp shooter Morse followed up her strong showing against Loyola with a 26-point effort at Wake Forest. Although MU's late rally came up short, Morse did what she could to keep the Golden Eagles in contention, leading the squad in scoring and rebounding.

Just two days later, Morse again led the Golden Eagles in scoring and rebounding against the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils. The Flint, Mich. native, poured in 17 points while registering seven rebounds at Duke.

Morse has put together a solid stretch of shooting from behind the 3-point arc as of late, knocking down 11 treys in Marquette's past three matchups. Morse notched a combined nine 3-pointers in MU's matchups against Wake Forest and Duke.

Morse and the Golden Eagles return to action this Wednesday, Nov. 26, when they host the Milwaukee Panthers for a 7 p.m. tilt at the Al McGuire Center.
