MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women’s basketball team is back in the friendly confines of the Al McGuire Center on Tuesday, Nov. 29, when it hosts New Orleans at 7 p.m.

Marquette will stream the game live, free of charge, on's multimedia platform, MUTube with Kent Sommerfeld (play-by-play) and Kyle Dlabay (analyst) calling all of the action.

A win over the Privateers will give head coach Terri Mitchell her 300th career win and shee will become just the second coach in Marquette history with 300 wins.

The Golden Eagles will look to get back on the winning track following a 1-2 performance at the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam over the Thanksgiving holiday. Sophomore Katherine Plouffe was named to the Reef Division All-Tournament Team after averaging 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, while shooting 55.2 percent for the tournament. Plouffe poured in a career-high 22 points in MU’s 71-51 win over Prairie View A&M.

The Privateers have opened the 2011-12 campaign with six straight losses against a mix of NCAA Division I and Division II opponents, as the school is in the midst of transitioning its athletic programs to the Division II level.

Junior Mirjam Sipos is pacing the UNO offense averaging 12.7 points per game, which includes the season-best 20 point outing in the Privateers 66-55 loss to Texas Wesleyan. Yosha Watson has chipped in 9.0 points and a team-best 7.8 rebounds per contest this season.

The Golden Eagles are 0-1 all-time against New Orleans with the lone meeting taking place on Feb. 28, 1992 at the Northern Lights Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska. The Privateers topped Marquette, 87-85.
