Marquette Hosts Wisconsin Monday Evening

MILWAUKEE--The Marquette women's basketball team is back in action after a short turnaround and will welcome in-state rival Wisconsin to the Al McGuire Center on Monday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Central time.
The game will air live on Spectrum Sports with Patrick Reed and Kevin O'Connor on the call. Streaming is available to those with a Spectrum log-in.
The Golden Eagles (3-3) fell at Green Bay on Saturday afternoon in a 63-55 decision, held to their lowest point total of the season. For the second straight game junior Amani Wilborn led the squad with 18 points with classmates Danielle King and Natisha Hiedeman also reaching double digits.
Wisconsin (5-3) also played a Saturday contest, earning a 71-60 win over LaSalle. Cayla McMorris paces the Badgers with 14.6 points per game and connected on 41.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Marsha Howard is the only other Wisconsin player averaging double figures with 12.4 points per game and leads with 8.5 rebounds per contest.
Marquette boasts six players the average double-digits led by Allazia Blockton's 17.2 points per game, while Hiedeman adds 13.6 points. Erika Davenports leads the Golden Eagles on the boards with 7.5 rebounds per night.
Marquette owns the last two victories over Wisconsin, but the Badgers have the narrow 13-11 all-time series edge.
The Golden Eagles will return to the road, traveling to No. 22 Michigan on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. CT
