MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women’s basketball team will host Iona Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Al McGuire Center. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. A live stream of the game can be seen free of charge, on GoMarquette.com's multimedia platform, MUTube with Kent Sommerfeld (play-by-play) and Michael Wottreng (analyst) calling all of the action.

The Golden Eagles will look to bounce back in non-conference action after a 95-42 loss at No. 3/3 Notre Dame on Wednesday.

Sarina Simmons was the only Golden Eagle to score in double figures with 14. It was Simmons second straight game of 10-or-more points, her sixth of the season. Simmons is currently second on the team with 11.1 points per game. She leads the team with 8.2 rebounds per game and had five against the Fighting Irish.

Iona stands 4-4 overall and has lost its last two games at Toledo (54-42) and Miami (92-77). Kristina Ford leads the Gaels with 18.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, while Damika Martinez has chipped in 13.8 points per game.

Marquette will face the Gaels for the second time in program history Saturday. The Golden Eagles topped Iona in the first meeting, 64-50, on Dec. 1, 2010. Courtney Weibel and Paige Fiedorowicz led Marquette each with 14 points in the win.
