MILWAUKEE – It might only be January, but it’s never too early to start thinking ahead to Marquette women's lacrosse summer camps. Head coach Meredith Black and her staff are excited to announce their unique summer camp opportunities for players of all ages and skill ranges, scheduled for July 10-12, 2017.

The Marquette Women's Lacrosse Camp will be hosted by the Golden Eagles' coaching staff and assisted by other highly qualified coaches and a host of current players. The options range from day camp for sixth graders and younger to elite overnight opportunities for 7th-12th graders.

Black is entering her fifth season at the helm of the Marquette women's lacrosse program. She has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Blue and Gold after an All-American playing career at Notre Dame and multiple stops at elite programs before arriving in Milwaukee.

"Our summer camp is the perfect opportunity to get to know our coaches, players, Marquette University and all that is has to offer," Black said. "It's a tremendous experience for all campers and offers a great introduction to America's fastest-growing sport."

The day camp is recommended for less experienced players and/or beginners. This instructional camp is for players 6th grade and younger and designed for campers who are looking to learn and develop the fundamentals of lacrosse.

The elite camp is recommended for more experienced players who are already advanced in the game of lacrosse. The camp is open to 7th-12th graders who are looking to improve their game and take it to the next level.
