Women's Lacrosse Begins Spring Practice

MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women’s lacrosse team returned from winter break in high spirits and resumed preseason training on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Valley Fields.

With the regular season just under three weeks away, GoMarquette.com caught up with head coach Meredith Black, defender Alex Winey and goalie Emma Salter on the start of spring practices and the excitement heading into MU’s inaugural campaign.

From now until Feb. 1, fans can purchase a men's and women's combined season-ticket package that includes all nine home games in 2013 for just $20.

Season- or single-game tickets can be purchased online at GoMarquette.com/tickets, by calling 414-288-GoMU (4668), or at the MU Ticket Office, located in the Al McGuire Center, weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Single-game tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth (ages 12 and under). MU students receive free admission with a Marquette ID. Tickets can also be purchased at the site of competition beginning one hour prior to start time on game days.
