Hill Claims Second-Straight BIG EAST Weekly Honor

NEW YORK – Marquette University senior attack Riley Hill has landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second-consecutive week after a tying a career-high with a seven-point performance in a win over Stetson on Sunday, the league announced today.

Hill, who became the fifth Golden Eagles to surpass the 100-point mark for her career as well, scored four goals and added three assists in leading Marquette to a 22-12 romp of Stetson at home.

The West Islip, New York, native had a hat trick plus two assists by halftime as MU went on to set a school record for goals in a single game. Hill also set a career-high with four draw controls in the win. She ranks second on the team with 19 points and her 10 assists, which ties teammate Cate Soccodato for most on the team and in the BIG EAST, currently ranks fourth in the nation. 

The Golden Eagles are back in action twice this week, taking on No. 17 Notre Dame on the road on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. Central time before returning home to the Valley Dome to play host to Niagara on Saturday, March 3, at noon CT.
