NEW YORK
-- Marquette University junior defender Elizabeth Goslee was a BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection after anchoring a stout defense for the Blue & Gold women's lacrosse team in a pair of conference games last week, the league office announced.

The Cincinnati native recorded five ground balls, five draw controls and four caused turnovers in two games last week. As a team, the Golden Eagles allowed fewer than 10 goals per game and the defense kept the team in each contest.

Goslee was a BIG EAST Preseason Defensive Player of the Year pick and a preseason All-America selection by Inside Lacrosse leading into the 2015 campaign. She has lived up to the billing, eclipsing her numbers from a season ago and leading one of the top defenses in the BIG EAST.

She currently ranks fifth in the league and in the NCAA top-25 in caused turnovers per game (1.69) for a team that ranks just outside the top-10 in caused turnovers nationally.

The Golden Eagles will wrap up the 2015 regular season when they head to Goslee's hometown to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in an 11 a.m. Central time start Saturday, April 25.
