SPARKS, Md. – Senior attacker Julianna Shearer has been selected to compete for the North squad in the 2017 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, June 3, it was announced today.

Shearer, who re-wrote the record books in her final season in Blue and Gold, will officially cap an illustrious collegiate career as a member of the North roster in the 2017 Senior All-Star Game held at Tierney Field at the U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. Saturday, June 3. The day will feature all-star games for NCAA Divisions I, II and III. Shearer and the North will take on the South squad at 10:30 a.m. Central time.

A live webstream broadcast will air on IWLCA-tv.com.

The Westminster, Md., native enjoyed an incredible four-year career with the Golden Eagles, including a dominating senior season in which she led the BIG EAST Conference with 55 goals scored in 2017. She was the only player in school history to reach the 50 goals mark in a single-season and the first to score 100 career goals. Shearer finished her career with 128 points, including 115 goals scored.

She is one of 44 Division I seniors selected to participate in the all-star game, including an exclusive group of seven players from the BIG EAST, and joins Sarah Priem ('16) as the only two players from MU chosen to play.
