MILWAUKEE - Marquette University will hold open tryouts for students interested in joining the NCAA Divison I women's lacrosse team. Those interested must attend an informational meeting on Sept. 20 and must be a Marquette student.

An informational meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Al McGuire Center media room, which is located on the first floor of the building. Students who plan on trying out must be in attendance at the Sept. 20 meeting.

To attend the meeting, students must have proof of a physical exam, sickle cell trait status and proof of insurance. Contact MU Head Athletic Trainer, Jeremy Johnson, by email with any questions regarding these items.

Open tryouts will begin on Thursday, Sept. 22 at Valley Fields.
