Women's Lacrosse to Host Coaching Clinic, Jan. 21

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University women’s lacrosse head coach Meredith Black and her coaching staff will host a coaching clinic on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Valley Fields.
The clinic is $25 per person and will feature instruction from Black as well as assistant coaches Hannah Clarke and Caitlin Fifield. Together, they will highlight many coaching concepts, including philosophy, practice planning, game strategy, drills, fundamentals and much more.
According to a study done by U.S. Lacrosse in 2015, it was determined that lacrosse is the fastest-growing sport in the country. From 2000-14, participation in women’s lacrosse showed a 109 percent increase and a 95 percent jump for the men.
Anyone with coaching interest can’t pass up this opportunity to learn the in’s and out’s and tricks of the trade from Marquette’s knowledgeable coaching staff.
