The No. 10 Marquette women's soccer team saw it's banner season come to an end Friday evening as it played to a 0-0 tie at No. 15 Dayton in NCAA Tournament First Round action, but did not advance to the second round as the Flyers edged the Golden Eagles, 4-3, in a shootout at Baujan Field. The Golden Eagles end their season 15-5-3 overall, while Dayton remains perfect (16-0-6) advances to play Virginia Tech on Sunday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
