  • BIG EAST All-Academic (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17)

2015 (Jr.): Appeared in four matches as a junior and played a season-high 17 minutes against Northern Arizona.

2014 (So.): Made two appearances on the pitch during the 2014 campaign ... Saw action in her first match of the season during MU's matchup against Minnesota (8/29).

2013 (Fr.)
: Made first collegiate appearance in MU's victory over St. Mary's in the Marquette Invitational (9/5).

Prior to Marquette: Devine was a four-year letter winner in soccer and earned a letter in cross country at Marin Catholic... Co-captain her junior year and became captain her senior year for soccer... Named an all-league midfielder as a sophomore and junior and earned the Marin Catholic MVP in 2012... Earned team MVP her senior year... Led team in assists... Helped her high school team to an MCAL Championship in 2012, an NCS Championship in 2011 and semifinal and finalist appearances in both tournaments throughout her career... Played for ECNL Rage and Marin FC club teams where she won multiple championships and played in many renowned tournaments... Played for Cal North ODP state team... Attended regional camp four times... Helped her team win the ODP Friendship Cup in Oregon... Her team was a finalist at the ODP National Tournament in Arizona.

Personal: Daughter of Dan and Tara... Has a twin, Michael who attends Colorado State University... They are the youngest of five children... Oldest brother, Sean, swims at Cal Poly San Louis Obispo, older brother Christopher plays lacrosse at Cal Poly San Louis Obispo and is now in the Army and her older sister, Theresa, runs cross country and track at Princeton University... Has a weiner dog named Max... Majoring in psychology with a minor in Spanish language, literature and culture.

What does being a part of the ‘FAMILY’ mean to you?
To me, being part of the ‘FAMILY' means never having to do or go through something alone. You always have 35-plus people to help you.

What accomplishment during your time at Marquette are you most proud of to-date?
I'm most proud of being voted strength and conditioning most improved in the spring of 2015.

After the conclusion of your collegiate career, what are your professional goals (soccer, career, etc.)?
My goal is to become a nurse.

Are there any pre-game rituals or superstitions that you have on match day?
I like to listen to Spanish music before I play.

Who is your biggest inspiration (athletic or otherwise)?
My biggest inspiration is my friend Dee who whilst battling cancer never ceased to stay positive.

San Francisco 49ers

Favorite sport other than soccer?

If you had to win at a random sport, which teammate would you select to play with?
Erin Holland and I would make a killer Badminton squad.

Favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
Walk around downtown and go to the lake.

Liz Bartels, singing.

Is there anything that others are surprised to learn about you?
I have a twin brother.

An interesting fact about your hometown?
The United States' oldest cross country running event, the Dipsea Race, takes place annually in Marin County, attracting thousands of athletes. Also, mountain biking was invented on the slopes of Mount Tamalpais in Marin​.

Favorite vacation destination?
Santa Barbra or Malibu.
