Prior to Marquette: Jurken was a four-year letter winner in soccer at Catholic Memorial ... Helped her team to three state championships in her high school career, one in 2009-10 and the other two in 2011-12 and 2012-13 ... Held the record for most game-winning goals in her junior season that included one in the state semifinal game and one to win the state championship ... Earned a second team all-conference honor her junior season ... Helped her team receive academic all-American honors for four consecutive seasons ... Made the first team all-conference, second team all-state, second team all-area and the Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Team her senior season ... Completed her high school soccer career with 12 goals and eight assists ... Played for FC Milwaukee and FC Wisconsin Eclipse soccer clubs.

What does being a part of the FAMILY mean to you?
Being a part of the Family means win or lose we are always there for each other, even after we graduate, we'll always be sisters.
What are your goals for the 2015 season (team and personal)?
My goals for the season are to win the BIG EAST regular season and tournament championships and make it to the NCAA tournament.
What accomplishment during your time at Marquette are you most proud of to-date?
I am most proud of being on this team.
At the conclusion of your collegiate career, what are your professional goals (soccer, career, etc.)? I'm not sure what my future plans are yet.
How did you spend your summer?
I spent my summer working at soccer camps, as well as working at a cheese shop in the Milwaukee Public Market.

I like to pray before games.
Who is your biggest inspiration (athletic or otherwise)?
Both of my parents.

Jacie Jermier- she's an all around athlete.

My favorite food is any kind of pasta and my favorite Milwaukee eatery is Elsa's.
Favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
Shopping in the Third Ward.
Most talented teammate outside of soccer (what area/discipline)?
Lisa Roman with her journalism skills.
Is there anything that others are surprised to learn about you?
I played hockey until the 8th grade.
Interesting fact about your hometown?
My hometown is technically a village.
Favorite vacation destination?
I love the mountains, but also love New York City.
What type of music do you prefer to listen to? Any favorite artists?
My favorite artists are The Head and The Heart and Mat Kearney.
