At Blue Valley West: Entering her final season at Blue Valley West High School, Baird is a defender/midfielder. She serveed as her team captain for the second straight year, was a first-team All-League selection as a junior and helped her team to a state championship. Her club team, the KCFC Alliance Revolution, has won multiple state titles, was a Region II semifinalist in 2002 and was ranked as high as eighth in the nation. She is a member of the Kansas State ODP team and is a Region II Pool player. She is a member of Who's Who Among American High School Students. She was also in the nationl honor society and National Foreign Language Honor Society. Personal: Ashley Rehea Baird was born on July 22, 1985, in Los Angeles, Calif.. She is the daughter of Dave and Liz Baird. She has three younger siblings, Cooper, Riley, Taylor and Mackenzie. Her father was a swimmer and water polo player at UCLA. She had an aunt who played softball at Kansas. She has yet to declare a major. |
