2002: Bedard became more of a regular as a sophomore, seeing time in 21 matches. She scored her first career point assisting on a Heather Goranson goal against Southern Miss (Sept. 29). Bedard took six shots on the year as she became more acclimated to being part of the MU offensive flow. She was very much a part of MU's defensive efforts from her midfield spot.
2001: Bedard saw limited action in her first collegiate season, appearing in nine matches. She made her collegiate debut against Wis.-Green Bay on Sept. 5. She proved pivotal down the stretch, playing in four of Marquette's six matches in November.
At Central: Bedard was a four-year letterwinner at Central High School. She was an all-conference honorable mention player as a freshman. After her junior year, she was a first team all-conference player. She repeated that honor as a senior in addition to earning all-state honorable mention leading her school to a city public school championship. As a freshman, Bedard was a two-sport athlete, lettering in track while competing in the 4x100-meter relay, 4x200-meter relay and the 200 meters. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Eric Celander Scholarship recipient, a member of the honor roll, and she was a winner of the Golden Key Award in National Scholastic Arts competition for photography.
Personal: Born April 16, 1983, Bedard is the daughter of Tom and Anna Bedard. Her father was a collegiate tennis player. She is an advertising major.
