2012:Scored a goal against Milwaukee (8/24) ...Handed out an assists on Kate Reigle's goal at Duke (9/9)...Handed out an assits on Taylor Madigan's goal at Rutgers (9/23)...Recorded an assist on Maegan Kelly's first goal of the game vs. Cincinnati (9/30)... Scored a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory over USF (10/20)... Notched two assists on both Mady Vicker's goal and Ally Miller's goal en route to a 3-1 victory over Princeton in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament (11/15)...

2011:Played in all 22 matches ... Earn her first career start against Penn State in the second round of the NCAA Championship ... Registered four goals against Saint Louis, North Dakota, Cincinnati and St. John's, including two game winners (at Cincinnati and St. John's)... Tallied one assist.

2010: Played in 14 matches as a reserve ... Registered her first career assist of Maegan Kelly's goal in a 3-0 win over Auburn (8/27).

Prior to Marquette: Jacobson decided to forego playing high school soccer in order to play with FC Milwaukee year-round. Along with twin sister Emily, and fellow freshmen Kate Reigle and Taylor Madigan, Cara Jacobson helped lead FC Milwaukee to state championships in 2007, 2009 and 2010 and the regional cup semifinals in 2007 and 2008. Jacobson is a four-year member of the Wisconsin State ODP team (2005-09) and is a member of the current regional pool. She earned three letters in track at Shorewood High School and was a two-time team captain (2009, 2010). She was a member of the conference champion 4x200 meter relay team and a member of the 4x400 relay that was a state qualifier in 2009. Helped her 4x200-meter relay team qualify for the state meet in 2010 while also setting a school record in that event.

Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Diana. Has two sisters including twin Emily who is also a member of the Marquette women's soccer team. Is an accounting major.
