The five assists were third on the team and her nine points were the fourth-highest total. She was often teamed with Kate Gordon. The pair combined for four of Culhane's seven point scoring opportunities. The duo connected in the first match of the year. Culhane fed Gordon in MU's 4-3 win over Ohio (Aug. 30). They performed the same roles in a 4-0 win over Louisville (Oct. 20). The tandem connected twice against DePaul (Nov. 2), once recording both assists on a Heather Goranson goal and later Culhane assisting a Gordon strike. Culhane also found the net twice, scoring the match winner at UAB (Oct. 2) and scoring against East Carolina (Oct. 25).

2001: A starter in the first 12 matches of the season, Culhane was a major part of the squad both as a starter and off the bench. Playing in 19 matches, she scored three goals and had two assists. Most of her scoring came early in the season, scoring two goals and two assists by the fifth match of the year. In a Sept. 17 contest against Illinois, she had the best offensive outing of her career, scoring a goal and an assist.

2000: Culhane saw time in 22 of Marquette's 23 matches. She was a vital part of Marquette's potent offense, launching 17 shots on the season, scoring two goals and adding two assists on the year for six points. She scored her first career goal against Cincinnati (Sept. 17) and added second of the year against Memphis (Sept. 24). Against the Tigers, she also recorded an assist. Her second assist was critical, coming on the match winner in the C-USA quarterfinals.

At Brookfield Central: A four-year starter and captain while with the Lancers' program, Culhane was a four-time All-Greater Metro Conference, All-Area and all-state selection as a prep. She was selected as BCHS's MVP in 1998 and was a member of the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program since 1995. She competed for the Milwaukee Kickers National Soccer Club and was member of the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Region (USYAA) II pool. Culhane lettered in basketball while in high school and was two-time captain of that squad. She was an honor-roll student beginning with her freshman year.

Personal: Born October 11, 1981, she is the daughter of Jim and Cindy Culhane. Her father played football at Vermont. She is a public relations major.
