2011: Has seen action in 16 games ... Registered four points on one goal and two assists ... Scored her first career goal in a 4-0 win at Cincinnati ... Added assists in wins against Pittsburgh and Cincinnati ... Launched seven shots with five coming on goal... Posted a career-high three shots against Pittsburgh.

2010: Saw action in five games ... Launched three shots, one on goal.

Prior to Marquette: Along with her twin sister Cara, Emily also did not play high school soccer in order to play with FC Milwaukee year-round. She helped the team to the regional semifinals in 2007 and 2008 and state championships in 2007, 2009 and 2010. Jacobson was a member of the ODP Regional Pool from 2007-2009, the ODP Regional Team in 2007 and 2008, and the ODP State Team from 2005-2009. In 2007, Jacobson participated in the U16 ODP National Development Camp. She traveled with the ODP Regional Teams to Germany in 2008, and Portugal and Spain in 2009. She was also a two-time participant in the Coral Springs Thanksgiving Interregional. Jacobson earned letters in basketball and track at Shorewood High School and served as captain of the track and field team in 2010. She was a member of the Woodland Conference Champion 4x200 relay team and was a member of the 4x400 relay that was a state qualifier in 2009.

Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Diana. Has two sisters including twin Cara who is also a freshman on the Marquette women's soccer team. Is a exercise physiology major.
