Prior to Marquette:Hieb competed on the La Jolla Country Day School team from 2008-11, leading the team to the section championship and Division IV semifinals in 2010. With the San Diego Surf Soccer Club since 2002, she helped it to top finishes in many tournaments, including tournament titles at the Kick for Hope San Diego Tournament (2010), Albion Cup National College Showcase (2009), Copa Del Mar (2007), U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV Championships (2007), CalSouth National Cup (2007), CYSA South State Cup (2005, 2003) and Nike Colorado Rush Invitational (2004).

Personal: Hieb is the daughter of Bob and Judy. Hieb intends to pursue a degree in psychology.
