Prior to Marquette: Jacobson decided to forego playing high school soccer in order to play with FC Milwaukee year-round. Along with twin sister Emily, and fellow freshmen Kate Reigle and Taylor Madigan, Cara Jacobson helped lead FC Milwaukee to state championships in 2007, 2009 and 2010 and the regional cup semifinals in 2007 and 2008. Jacobson is a four-year member of the Wisconsin State ODP team (2005-09) and is a member of the current regional pool. She earned three letters in track at Shorewood High School and was a two-time team captain (2009, 2010). She was a member of the conference champion 4x200 meter relay team and a member of the 4x400 relay that was a state qualifier in 2009. Helped her 4x200-meter relay team qualify for the state meet in 2010 while also setting a school record in that event. Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Diana.
