Prior to Marquette: Along with her twin sister Cara, Emily also did not play high school soccer in order to play with FC Milwaukee year-round. She helped the team to the regional semifinals in 2007 and 2008 and state shampionships in 2007, 2009 and 2010. Jacobson was a member of the ODP Regional Pool from 2007-2009, the ODP Regional Team in 2007 and 2008, and the ODP State Team from 2005-2009. In 2007, Jacobson participated in the U16 ODP National Development Camp. She traveled with the ODP Regional Teams to Germany in 2008, and Portugal and Spain in 2009. She was also a two-time participant in the Coral Springs Thanksgiving Interregional. Jacobson earned letters in basketball and track at Shorewood High School and served as captain of the track and field team in 2010. She was a member of the Woodland Conference Champion 4x200 relay team and was a member of the 4x400 relay that was a state qualifier in 2009. Personal: Daughter of Thomas and Diana.
