2002: Johnson saw action in four matches during her first campaign with MU soccer. She made her collegiate debut against Rhode Island (Sept. 13). she scored her first career point. She assisted Katie Michuda with a goal against Louisville (Oct. 20). At Boylan Catholic: A four year letterwinner at Boylan Catholic, Johnson scored 30 career goals and had 62 assists in her four seasons. She led her squad to four-straight conference titles. She was a first-team all-conference selection as a senior, scoring 15 goals and 18 assists. Her squad finished fourth in the state that season. She was an all-conference honorable mention selection as a junior following an eight goal, 22 assist season. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society and was featured in Who's Who Among Young Americans. Personal: Sarah Elizabeth Johnson was born November 28, 1983, to David and Cindy Johnson in Rockford, Ill. She has one younger brother, Scott. She plans on majoring in exercise science. She also has volunteered her time coaching five- and six-year-olds in youth soccer.
