Started 17 straight games before being sidelined for three contests with a foot injury (at Syracuse, at St. John's, vs Villanova). Returned to action against West Virginia in the BIG EAST Semifinals. Was named the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week following wins over Green Bay and Minnesota. Played an integral role as a stopper this season helping Marquette to 12 shutouts. Recorded one point on one assist for the season. Prior to Marquette: Miller helped Homestead High School to a state championship as a sophomore in 2007 before electing to play year round with FC Milwaukee her final two seasons. As a sophomore with the Highlanders, she received second team all-North Shore Conference honors. With FC Milwaukee, Miller helped the squad, along with fellow incoming freshmen Sam Vicker, Katie Hishmeh, Sammy Kailas, and Ashley Stemmeler, to six Wisconsin State Cup Championships, as well as four Midwest Premier League Championships. She played with the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program from 2005 to 2007. Personal: Miller was born on July 3, 1991 to Mark and Kathy Miller.
