At Totino-Grace: Pitzl was a three year letterwinner in both soccer and basketball and a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Totino-Grace. She scored 32 goals and 39 assists in her three seasons on the soccer field. She was selected all-state as a senior and was all-state honorable mention as a junior. She was an all-league selection three times. She led her team to three conference titles and as state title as a junior and senior. Her basketball team was fourth in the state as a senior and she won a state title in lacrosse that same year. She was also a member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Pitzl was born on June 27, 1985, in St. Paul, Wis. She is the daughter of Gerald and Mary Shields. From a large family, she has four brothers, John Joe, Tom and Dan. She has not decided on a major. |
