2004: A valuable reserve for Marquette, Pitzl played in every match during her sophomore season. Her first career goal came in the win over Cincinnati (Oct. 8). Claire Weber served the ball in from 30 yards and found Pitzl in the box where she headed the ball past the keeper. The midfielder also recorded two assists on the season, one in the C-USA Tournament win over Charlotte and another against South Dakota State (Aug. 29). Pitzl finished the season with 16 shots and 10 shots on goal. 2003: Pitzl played in two matches in her freshman season. She made her first appearance in a Marquette uniform, playing against Oakland (Sept. 7). She also saw action against Wisconsin (Sept. 9), taking one shot on goal. At Totino-Grace: Pitzl was a three year letterwinner in both soccer and basketball and a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Totino-Grace. She scored 32 goals and 39 assists in her three seasons on the soccer field. She was an all-state selection as a senior and was all-state honorable mention as a junior. She was an all-league selection three times. She led her team to three conference titles and a state title as a junior and senior. Her basketball team was fourth in the state as a senior and she won a state title in lacrosse that same year. She was also a member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Pitzl was born on June 27, 1985, in St. Paul, Minn. She is the daughter of Gerald and Mary Pitzl. From a large family, she has four brothers, John, Joe, Tom and Dan.
