A member of MU's speedy frontline, Sloan finished second on the team with 16 points on seven goals and two assists ... Tallied four game-winning goals against Auburn (8/27), at Georgetown (10/3) on her 21st birthday, against St. John's (10/24) and in the NCAA Championship First Round against Central Michigan (11/12) ... Second on the team with 52 shots ... Recorded her first multi-goal performance of her career in a 5-0 win over Idaho State (8/20) ... Scored MU's first goal in a come-from-behind overtime win against Louisville (10/17) ... 2009: An All-BIG EAST First Team selection and named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team, Sloan led the Golden Eagle offense with 19 points on seven goals and five assists. Five of her goals were game winners. Registered game-winning strikes in wins over Rice, Seton Hall, Connecticut Syracuse, and West Virignia in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals. Also scored MU's lone goal in a 2-1 loss against Notre Dame in the title game of the BIG EAST Championship. Named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 25 following her three-point performance with the game-winning goal against Syrcause and the game-winning assist at St. John's that gave MU its first BIG EAST American Division title. Registered one multi-point game with three points on a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over USF for which she was recognized by CollegeSoccer360.com as a Primetime Player. Also registered assists against Pepperdine, UW-Milwaukee and Cincinnati. Launched a team-high 67 shots, 36 on goal. Posted a season-high seven shots, six on goal in a 0-0 tie against Pittsburgh. Named to the NSCAA All-Northeast Region Second team.
2008: Appeared in 16 games, starting in three. Scored first career goal with the equalizer in 1-1 draw vs. Cincinnati (Oct. 19). Assisted Julia Victor's goal at DePaul in 4-2 win (Oct. 3).
Before Marquette: Sloan lettered four times and captained the Elk Grove team during her entire high school soccer campaign. She finished her prep career with 59 goals and 25 assists. Sloan earned all-state honors following her senior season and is a four-time all-area and all-confernce selection, and two-time all-sectional honoree. As a freshman, she tallied 21 goals and 12 assists and was recognized as an all-conference selection and all-area honorable mention. Her sophomore year, she scored 23 goals and added 10 assists and was an all-conference selection, all-area honorable mention, all-MSL honors, and all-sectional honorable mention. As a junior, Sloan was named all-conference, all-area, and all-sectional, tallying 17 goals and 10 assists on the season. Sloan was a member of the Fox Valley Strikers and Chicago Kickers United. With United, she helped the team to win the 2008 Illinois State cup and the 2005 CASL Championship. KUFC was also a finalist in the 2005 Surf Cup, 2005 Best of the Midwest finalists, and 2006 Score at the Shore (Florida) finalists. Sloan competed with the Chicago Gaels of the W-League during the summer of 2007.
Personal: Sloan was born Oct. 3, 1989. The daughter of Susan and Steven Sloan she has three siblings, Ashley, Marjorie and Abbey. Her father Steven played baseball at Elmhurst College while older sister Ashley plays softball at Yale University. She lettered twice in basketball during her freshman and sophomore years. Sloan is a speech pathology and audiology major.
