2007: Smith played in five games in 2007, recording two saves. She saw 26 minutes of action in a 4-0 win against Rhode Island (Sept. 16) and recorded one save. Smith did not allow a goal in 55 minutes in goal. 2006: Part of Marquette's talented goalkeeper trio, Smith played in eight games, starting in one. Her lone start came at St. John's on Oct. 23, where she made three saves and allowed one goal. Two days prior to that start, Smith was called upon to preserve Marquette's shutout of Syracuse on Oct. 20, after starting keeper Laura Boyer had to leave the game. For the season, Smith registered a 0.39 goals against average and has made seven stops in over 223 minutes of action. 2005: Smith played four times as a sophomore, totalling 35 minutes. She recorded one save in four minutes against Providence (Sept. 25). Smith saw action in games at Pittsburgh (Oct. 9), St. John's (Oct. 23) and Notre Dame (Nov. 4) 2004: Smith did not see any action in her first collegiate soccer season and earned a redshirt. Prior to Marquette: Smith was named First-team All-Conference as a senior, and she earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior. She helped her team to a state semifinal appearance as a senior. Coached as a Lightning by Jeff Good, she earned four soccer letters. Personal: The oldest of Howard and Donna's three children, Smith has a brother, Kip and sister, Emily. She was born on October 24, 1985. She is a history major.
