2004: Weber saw action in only five matches in 2004, suffering an injury in the Wis.-Milwaukee match (Sept. 8). She missed the rest of the season. She started five times and had four shots on the season.
2003: As a freshman, Weber made an immediate impact to the Marquette offense. Appearing 17 times, Weber was second on the team in goals with two. She tied for the team lead in match winners with two. She made her collegiate debut in Marquette's second match of the season, against Dayton (Aug. 31). From there, it took her just three matches to net her first collegiate goal, scoring in the final 10 minutes against Wis.-Green Bay (Sept. 16) to break a 1-1 tie. She scored in the final match of the regular season, netting an overtime winner in a 1-0 victory over Northwestern (Oct. 31).
At St. Viator: Weber, a midfielder from St. Viator High School, was a three-time all-conference selection heading into her final year. She was all-state selection as a junior. She was named team MVP in 2002, helping guide the team to a state title. She plays on the Eclipse Select Club Team, having won many state titles with the club. She was a prolific scorer, netting a school record 99 goals, and led her team to a state championship and she was named all-state and all-American. She is a former member of the Illinois State ODP team and lettered basketball during her four years at St. Viator. She was a 2004 Eclipse select team member which placed third at nationals. She was also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Lauren Elizabeth Weber was born on November 14, 1984, in Elk Grove, Ill. She is the daughter of Bill and Terry Weber. She has an older brother, Bill, and two younger sisters, Elise and Lindsey. Her mother was state high school hurdles champion in Kentucky. Her father played baseball and basketball for one year and golf for three at the U.S. Military Academy (Army). She is a physical therapy major.
