Roeders to be inducted to Wisconsin Soccer HOF on Saturday

MILWAUKEE - Marquette University women's soccer head coach Markus Roeders will be inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame on Saturday evening at Bartolotta's Downtown Kitchen in Milwaukee.
Roeders has served as head coach of the Marquette women's program for 22 seasons after spending time as both a men's and women's assistant coach at MU. During his head coaching tenure, the Golden Eagles have gone 315-126-48, have not posted a losing season and have won fewer than 11 games only once. He has led his teams to 13 NCAA tournaments, 10 regular season conference titles and four league tournament crowns.
During his MU career, Roeders served as a member of the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee, chair of the Great Lakes Region Committee, as well as with the National Soccer Coaches of America's (NSCAA) national and regional rankings committees. Roeders has also chaired the BIG EAST Women's Soccer Coaches Committee.
The Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame is an independent organization that celebrates and recognizes individuals who have contributed in some way, shape or form to soccer in the state.
