Marquette Soccer Excites Crowd at Summerfest

MILWAUKEE - Players from the Marquette men's and women's soccer teams entertained an overflow crowd at the Sentry SportsZone Friday afternoon at Summerfest. Associate head men's coach Stan Anderson led the interactive event along with men's players Hector Navarro, Billy Von Rueden, Anthony Colaizzi, Keenan M. Flynn, Matt Pyzdrowski, Scott Miller, Greg Pignataro, assistant women's coach Hideki Nakada, and women's players Danielle Martens, Ashley Bares, Katie Miller and Kerry McBride. The teams introduced soccer tennis to the crowd before breaking up into five interactive stations teaching children various soccer skills and fundamentals. The players also signed autographs and posed for photos with fans.
