MILWAUKEE - Fans and families are invited to come help the men's and women's soccer teams kick off their 2014 seasons at the eighth annual Marquette Soccer Fan Fest on Thursday, Aug. 14 at Valley Fields. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Admission and parking for the event will be free, and there will be free food provided by Qdoba. Attendees will have the chance to take part in interactive soccer stations, get player autographs and take photos with Marquette student-athletes and coaches. There will also be free 2014 men's and women's schedule posters, as well as other giveaways.

Some of the interactive stations at the youth Skills Zone will include 3-on-3 matches, soccer tennis, soccer basketball, soccer bowling and shooting and passing drills. Kids will also have the chance to take a penalty kick against a real Marquette goalkeeper.

The day's festivities will culminate with the MU women's team taking on Wisconsin in an exhibition match at 7:30 p.m. The men's team will also hold an intersquad scrimmage at the event.

7:30 p.m. - Marquette Women vs. Wisconsin

Fans interested in seeing more Golden Eagle soccer this year can buy men's and women's soccer season tickets for only $45. Season ticket holders will also receive a free 2014 soccer scarf and have a reserved chair back seat at all 21 home matches this fall.
