SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - The No. 13/9 Marquette women's soccer match at Saint Louis was called with 39:31 left in the second half after a lightning delay. Play did not resume due to field conditions.

Since at least 70 minutes of the match were not completed, the statistics from the match will not count and the result will not be reflected in either team's win-loss record.

The Golden Eagles held a 1-0 lead when play was suspended. Senior Rachael Sloan scored on an assist from Cara Jacobson.

Marquette will travel to Northwestern on Friday, Aug. 31. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
